Description

At Nancy's Place, Covenant House offers round-the-clock intensive care to help kids become self-sufficient and independent.

Many of the kids are struggling with a form of mental illnesses such as depression, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, or anxiety.

We typically care for eight youth at a time, and have seen many kids transition from Nancy's Place to happy, independent places.

Resident Advisors at Nancy's

Monitor residents during sleeping hours to ensure their safety.
Monitors the building with a focus on resident safety.
Participates in case management staff meetings and attends required training.
Accurately and comprehensively documents case records with information regarding interactions and case plan updates
Participates in crisis management
Supervises youth as they selfadminister prescribed or over the counter medication.
Monitors resident activities within the building to ensure a safe and healthy living environment
Performs tasks needed in maintaining a clean work environment
Works with individual residents and escorts them to activities as needed
Manages and administers shift petty cash
Assists as needed with fundraising affairs and special events which may be conducted outside the employee's normal work schedule.
Expected to be involved in food preparation steps to ensure residents receive 3 meals a day.
Required to assist residents and agency with food shopping for individual and site needs.
All other duties assigned by management staff

Applicant Must be available to work the following schedule: Sunday & Monday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Days off:
Friday & Saturday

Rate:
$20.52 an hour
