Rehabilitation Support Services, Inc. is hiring a Residence Counselor for its Community Residence.

Hours and Benefits:


  • 40hour work week, Monday through Friday
  • Eligible for Overtime Pay and Holiday Double-Time Pay

Requirements for the Residence Counselor:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid NYS Driver's License is required for most positions.
  • Successful clearance by the Justice Center and New York State Office of Children and Family Services Statewide Central Register Database Check is also required.

Responsibilities for the Residence Counselor include:

  • Establish and maintain good rapport and therapeutic relationship with residents.
  • Aid and encourage residents to meet the established goals of their service plans.
  • Encourage resident decisionmaking.
