Shop Merchandiser/Pro Shop Attendant:
Assist in the purchase and display of merchandise in a private golf club golf shop. Ensure groupings and other merchandise are displayed on floor in manner that will optimize sales. Provide high quality customer service to the golfing membership and guests; perform assigned golf shop operational activities. Assist staff in the Pro Shop and perform other duties as required.


Specific Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and performs specialized projects as required.
• May assist in the operating of special events as needed.
• Coordinate assigned activities and functions relating to the golf shop

These activities may include:
taking reservations, collecting greens fees, golf cart rental, sale of merchandise etc.

• Assist Head Professional with inventory levels.
• Assist in purchasing merchandise.
• Stay current with fashion trends of the golf apparel industry to assist in the buying of merchandise.
• Monitor merchandise trends in the golf shop.
• Conduct sales promotions through displays and shop decorations, and coordination of periodic onsite sales.
• Coordinate with various departments to order any necessary uniforms or special attire for employees and amenities for special events/groups.
• Coordinate special purchase orders.
• Keep track of all special orders and keep the membership informed of items purchased.
• Strong knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office.

Annual Salary $40,000


Pay:
$40,000.00 per year
