Strategic Purchaser for Construction Services VOB

The University of Cologne's procurement department is located in the Department of Economics and Finance and is divided into operational, strategic procurement, and the construction procurement office. The position of a strategic purchaser is to be filled in the construction procurement office. Here, you will be responsible for the procurement of all construction services according to VOB as well as planning services.

YOUR TASKS:

Processing of procurement procedures for construction and planning services
Independent work in the construction procurement office team
Examination of performance specifications and supplements in the VOB area
Consultation of specialist departments regarding procurement procedures
Support in controlling

YOUR PROFILE:

Successfully completed degree in engineering or business (e.g. civil engineering, architecture, economics, business administration, public administration, law) or several years of relevant professional experience in a similar position
Knowledge of procurement of construction services is desirable
Ideally, professional experience in a procurement office or in claims management
Expertise in VOB, HOAI, VGV, UVgO, GW
