Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Deputy Program Manager to join our team In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management and execution of a complex program delivering global program and project services for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Installation - Counter small Unmanned Aircraft System (I-CsUAS) program.

You will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure that all program/project services and activities are executed efficiently, meeting resource, quality and safety standards, deliverable deadlines, and financial requirements.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Program Planning and Execution. Assist in developing program management plans, schedules, budgets, and strategies. Ensure program milestones are met on time, within budget, and with desired quality. Coordinate activities across different teams or departments involved in the program.
  • Stakeholder Management. Serve as a key point of contact for internal/external stakeholders. Communicate program status, issues, and achievements to stakeholders. Work to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the program.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management. Identify potential risks to the success of the program and opportunities to improve efficiency. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and action opportunities.
  • Resource Allocation. Assist in allocating resources (e.g., personnel, budget) efficiently across projects within the program. Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance. Ensure all aspects of the program are executed according to established standards and practices. Implement continuous improvement processes throughout the lifecycle of the program.
  • Safety. Implement the program's safety program. Ensure all aspects of program/project work complete hazards analysis planning and have project safety plans to mitigate hazards.
  • Reporting. Prepare reports on program progress, challenges, and outcomes for senior management. Analyze data to provide insights into performance improvements or adjustments needed.
  • Team Leadership. Support in leading and motivating team members involved in the program. Facilitate collaboration among team members, corporate service centers, and external stakeholders to achieve program/project objectives.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field (Master's degree may be preferred).
  • 15+ years of proven experience in project or program management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in both technical and nontechnical project work.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Working proficiency in project/program management software tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work in the Northern VA area | Hybrid (Inoffice/Remote work schedule)
