Aerospace Stress Engineer
Permanent Position
Onsite in Munich (1 day remote work per week possible)
iO Associates is currently partnering with an innovative Aerospace Start Up company in Munich, seeking a Stress Engineer to join their team.
As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of their aerospace structures. Your expertise in stress analysis and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will contribute to the success of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct stress analysis of metallic or composite primary and secondary components using hand calculations and finite element methods (FEM).
- Prepare comprehensive structural substantiation reports that adhere to technical requirements set by the program and certifying authorities.
- Collaborate with offsite suppliers, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Offer stress support to various departments within the organization, including Design, Production, Flight Test, Quality Assurance, and Airworthiness.
- Document technical data in accordance with internal standards and guidelines, with a focus on quality, compliance, and safety.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
