- Review and action daily queries and rejection messages logged in GC's messaging system
- Resolve B2B related questions from assigned markets
- Follow protocols to modify GC processing system to onboard / modify B2B distributions
- Working with assigned reinsurers and IT Department to support B2B functions
- Run series of reports for internal and external parties
- Create, modify and execute message scenarios for testing with B2B Trading Partners
- Evaluate impact of GC workflow on B2B messaging
- Participate in trading partner conference calls as well as B2B community groups (i.e. Ruschlikon Business Implementation Group)
- Work with CSS client teams to on board incoming B2B messages from clients.
- Work with CSS to address B2B issues related to message monitor
- Work with B2B Business Partners to improve transaction efficiency via messaging.
- 4 Year College Degree (B.S. or B.A) and/or 2-5 years of equivalent professional work experience in insurance, reinsurance or risk management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a high performance team. Attention to detail in completing assigned tasks.
- Positive attitude, willingness to offer and execute ideas and solutions to enhance processes within a changing environment.
- Successful management of workload; able to manage expectations of all Clients and Stakeholders.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, delivering clear and concise messages and at all times promoting and enhancing the Guy Carpenter brand.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 + years of reinsurance/insurance, accounting/claims or professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts and principles, laws and regulatory requirements (i.e., FATCA, etc.) and general business trends.
- Strong track record of successful Client account management, relationship management, engagement and development.
- Strong verbal and writing skills for complex communications (presentations, negotiations, etc.) with clients, markets and GC colleagues at all levels.
- Previous knowledge of reinsurance and/or insurance concepts preferred.
- Knowledge of contract law, contract provisions, reinsurance concepts and principles, basic regulatory controls and general business trends.

Client Support Services (CSS) is comprised of global service teams who are assigned to specific client (customer) accounts to handle contracts, claims and accounting. The B2B Analyst II is responsible for working with internal and external parties to onboard trading partners to expand Guy Carpenter's B2B footprint. Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $61, to $91,.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
