Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience with benefit and payroll practices.
This position is a full-time position Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm- Assist with a variety of HR functions including benefits, recruitment, staffing, employee records, new hire orientation, and HRIS systems
- Coordinate new hire orientations and assist in onboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating training sessions.
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR related matters, such as benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning and other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in administrative tasks
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
- Knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
- Proficient with HRIS systems
