    Regal Professional Services is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our client's chemical mixing & blending facility in Lewisville, Texas. Their facility specializes in the production of cleaning chemicals for the HVAC industry, as well as bottling and packaging oils and lubricants used in the same sector. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, including facilities management, production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the overall success of the facility
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
    • Manage a diverse team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance management
    • Develop and implement facility-wide policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
    • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to introduce new products and improve existing formulations
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance
    • Lead facility modernization projects, including equipment upgrades and process automation
    • Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, including capital expenditures and operating expenses
    • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply of raw materials and packaging components
    • Provide leadership and guidance to employees, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable but not essential
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role in the chemical manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of success
    • Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, including mixing, blending, and packaging
    • Experience working with hazardous chemical ingredients, such as strong acids and alkalis
    • Lead and develop high-performing teams
    • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing operational best practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to chemical manufacturing, including OSHA and EPA regulations
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset
    • Experience with facilities management and capital project management is highly desirable
