    Business Intelligence Engineer

    Technology

    Chicago (Remote with up to 50% Travel)

    $120,000 - $130,000 + Bonus

    The Company:

    We are working with a fast-growing consulting firm, headquartered in Chicago, they are leading the way in data-driven solutions. Leveraging Azure, Python, Power BI, and SQL, they provide their clients with state-of-the-art business intelligence and data analytics services. As they continue to expand their client base, they need a BI Engineer to join our team and take a leading role in crafting data-driven solutions.

    The Role:

    As a BI Engineer, you will be a key contributor to designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions for our diverse range of clients. Your responsibilities will encompass:

    • Architecting and implementing BI solutions using Azure services.
    • Collaborating with clients to understand their business intelligence requirements and provide expert guidance.
    • Utilizing Python, SQL, and Power BI to create data visualizations and reports.
    • Developing data integration processes within Azure for efficient data handling.
    • Providing mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of BI solutions.

    Your Skills and Experience:

    • Extensive experience in business intelligence development, particularly in the utilization of Azure services.
    • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and analysis.
    • Strong knowledge of Power BI for creating compelling data visualizations and reports.
    • Proven ability to mentor and guide junior BI professionals.
    • Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to business intelligence challenges.

    The Benefits:

    As a BI Engineer, you will receive a base of $120,000 to $130,000 plus bonus. This role also includes health, dental, vision and 401k match.
