Windy City Paws_ is looking for a dependable person to join our professional team as a
Dog Walker / Pet Sitter This is a parttime, W2 employed position that receives benefits like paid time off and 401(k) payroll contributions. You will also be eligible for a
$300 bonus after a successful 90day performance review. Additionally, you will be provided with paid training and education on dog and cat behavior throughout your tenure with us

As a _Windy City Paws_
Dog Walker / Pet Sitter, you'll be committed to providing our clients with the highest level of care and attention:

Prepare the dog or dogs in each household to go outside with the appropriate gear (leash, harness, etc.).
Provide fun and enriching playtime for the full duration of the service (typically 30 or 60 minutes for dog walks or 2 hours for a pet sit).
Provide food, water, and/or medication per client instructions and _Windy City Paws_ provided training.
Clean up after dogs outside on walks and inside the homes if there are accidents and clean up litter boxes for cats.

Chicago Service Areas:
Andersonville, Bucktown, Gold Coast, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square, Logan Square, Loop, North Center, Old Town, Ravenswood, River North, Roscoe Village, South Loop, Streeterville, West Loop, Wicker Park

Qualifications for this position:

Eligibility to work in the U.S. and a minimum age of 2
Available without limitations from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Ability to commute to and around select _Chicago Service Areas_ (listed above).
Capable of withstanding all weather conditions outside and several hours of walking each day.
A smartphone with a data plan for communication and tracking walks.
Prior experience with dogs and cats is a plus, but not required.

Compensation:

Starting pay is $15.80 per hour for regular hours (8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday)
Pay for evening hours (5pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday) and weekend hours (8am to 8pm, Saturday & Sunday) is $22.50 per hour
The majority of our parttime
Dog Walkers / Pet Sitters work between 10 to 25 hours per week

- _Windy City Paws_ pays employees per hour, so the commute time between dog walking and pet sitting appointments is compensated
