Reading Assist's strategic ambition is to become the leading regional expert and trusted provider of reading instruction for young, struggling readers.
We intend to grow to serve 10,000 students with 90% reaching benchmark in foundational reading skills within one year.The Recruitment Manager will support our strategic vision by promoting, recruiting and hiring fellows to meet our recruitment goals.

Director of Recruitment and Talent
This position is focused around the following recruitment strategies:4) Developing relationships within college campuses or partner organizations who will champion Reading Assist opportunities to potential prospects.
Recruitment and Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage applicant data
- Drive recruitment events
- Execute marketing activities (ie, social media posts)
- Create Fellow interview schedules and coordinate with program team
- Conduct Fellow interviews
- Issue Fellow offers and manage acceptances; coordinate with Program Team to place Fellows
- Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Regularly evaluate recruitment plans and strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Instruction teams to stay up to date on programmatic changes and to ensure smooth transition of hired fellows from the recruitment phase to operational support.
- Assist with other Reading Assist operations as needed, including program support, training, and administration.
- Identify and explore new pipelines for recruitment and engage prospective applicants, including events, online platforms, direct outreach, and partnerships with high schools, colleges and universities, retiree groups, parent groups, and community organizations
Experience, Skills, and Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years Experience in recruiting, HR, marketing, or advertising
- Excellent knowledge of branding strategies and recruitment processes
- Excellent creative thinking and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stay uptodate with marketing and advertising trends in the staffing/AmeriCorps recruitment industry
- Enjoy meeting and engaging with new people
- Always seeking to learn, improve, and innovate
- National service experience, such as AmeriCorps or Peace Corps, a plus
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Driver's license
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office programs, and Googlebased platforms
Reading Assist does not sponsor work authorization visas.
Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year
