Overview:

ROCKY HILL, CT (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - A lovely, growing family seeks a FULL-TIME, LIVE OUT NANNY to help care for their happy 2-year-old son and baby on the way, arriving in November.

They are conveniently located 15 minutes south of Hartford.

The family's focus revolves around their cheerful 2-year-old son, and they are in search of an experienced and nurturing caregiver who shares their dedication to providing him, and his future sibling, with a safe, engaging, and loving environment.

The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

The primary responsibility is to care for the children and help with light household tasks such as family laundry and dishes during nap time from 12-2 pm.

They plan to have a newborn care specialist for the first 6 weeks of the infant's life. After that time, the infant, along with their older brother, will be cared for by the nanny.

Must be vaccinated for COVID and the seasonal flu, as well as TDAP once the baby arrives.

They would like for their nanny to adhere to health protocols such as hand hygiene and mask-wearing if feeling unwell or directly exposed to illness.

The same practices are reciprocated by the family.

The family values honesty and reliability and seeks those attributes, along with a genuine passion for childcare in their nanny.

Both parents are busy business owners, so reliability and punctuality are of the utmost importance. Must be okay with parents working from home. They travel as a family a few times per year typically for 1-2 week durations.

They have a home in Puerto Rico that they like to frequent for more extended periods and would love for their nanny to join Private accommodations will be provided within their home in PR.

Benefits include paid sick days, vacation, and paid holidays. Pay is $25-30/hour depending on experience. Start date is mid-June.

Qualifications:

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Incentives:

Paid sick days, holidays and vacation.

Targeted Annual Gross Salary (Min): USD $25.00/Hr. Targeted Annual Gross Salary (Max): USD $30.00/Hr.
