- Tax Preparation: Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including federal, state, and local filings. You will work in Real Estate, Distribution, Non-profit, manufacturing, and Services.
- Client Interaction: Build strong client relationships by providing exceptional service, answering tax-related questions, and offering tax planning advice.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients and provide recommendations.
- Tax Research: Conduct tax research as needed to address complex tax issues and provide guidance to clients.
- Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation for clients.
- Client Education: Educate clients on tax-related matters and help them make informed financial decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Two plus years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a CPA firm or tax advisory role.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- You will pay attention to detail and have a commitment to accuracy.
