Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is currently recruiting for a Associate Director, New Business Development Analytics, to be located in Horsham, PA.


The Associate Director New Business Development Analytics, Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) Immunology will work on projects across DAS areas and have a broad view of the strategic asset and the potential for growth.

The associate director will have opportunities to collaborate with both functional and therapeutic area leadership to conduct forecast and data analytics activities.

Responsibilities include

  • Developing patientbased demand forecasts and conducting primary and secondary market research in a timely manner and within budget constraints
  • Monitoring, collaborating and communicating crossfunctionally with competitive intelligence, finance, medical affairs, regulatory and other key functions
  • Present insights and market research findings to a broad, crossfunctional audience, including leadership
  • Analyze and evaluate large data sets, provide high level conclusions
  • Due to the nature of the work, the ability to think analytically and lead through complexity, develop insightbased market assumptions that include an understanding of global market dynamics, and translating key business questions into clear deliverables will be vital. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are also imperative to this position.
  • Objectively translate market needs and requirements into meaningful recommendations and tactics that ensure commercial preparation, including gotomarket strategies and prelaunch planning
The expected base salary in this range: $118,000-$177,600.


Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 24 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • MBA, or other graduate degree is strongly preferred.
  • Background in biology, data sciences, finance, science, pharmacy, preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Primary Market Research experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Experience in forecasting, business analytics and other analytical areas is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with secondary pharmaceutical data sources and modeling is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of the product development process (NME declaration through launch) is preferred.
  • Ability to develop and execute innovative and novel approaches for insight generation when and where appropriate.
  • Capable of leading crossfunctional teams of people.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities on time, and effectively manage external partners, is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Curiosity and growth mentality to learn and build/improve skill sets
  • This position requires up to 10% travel.
This position is primarily based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
