Program Director - Child Adolescence


Job Location:
Child Adolescence Services

Hours: 35 hrs./wk., Monday - Friday

Duties:


  • Oversees and monitors the overall administration of Children's Services.
  • Develops and oversees the growth and expansion of Children's Services
  • Develops and oversees program policies and procedures, including OMH regulations and policies.
  • Develops training curriculum for staff and conduct staff training.
  • Represents and networks with other programs, organizations, coalitions and government agencies.
  • Participates in agency administrative meetings and trainings.
  • Meets regularly with the Assistant director and Supervisors.
  • Networking with community, Federal, State, City agencies.
  • Participate in administrative meetings, training sessions and other meetings/ conferences both inter and intraagency. Provide consultation and assistance to other agency units on issues relating to children.
  • Develop and maintain a community resource directory to be accessed and used by parents and staff.
  • Work closely with the executive team to set and execute strategic growth plans for the program.
  • Develop a comprehensive, multiyear organizational children's mental health strategy with clear goals and collaborate with key staff to execute.
  • Build network of external partners and resources to ensure we are using evidencebased best practices to meet unique needs of children and families.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment, as needed.
  • Serves as a liaison/coordinator between city agency partners, community partners, and other child & adolescent services.
  • Develop new services and add on programs.
  • Responsible for the ongoing accreditation and appropriate approvals for the program.

Job Requirements:

  • Social Worker (LCSW) from an accredited graduate school. At least five (5) years' experience in working with children, adolescents and families. Previous supervisory and administrative experience.

Chief Medical Officer and Executive


Pay:
$105, $110,000.00 per year
