Tactical Advantage Group (TAG) is a medical education and communications company specializing in the development and implementation of promotional services for the pharmaceutical industry.

TAG is seeking an entry-level Clerical Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis.

This full-time position will begin ASAP and conclude in December 2024, with potential for a permanent role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with data entry.
  • Creating and revising documents in Excel and Word.
  • Photocopying and scanning documents.
  • Making calls to restaurants on behalf of a pharmaceutical client to request contracts for private space.
  • Populating Word document invitation templates.
  • Answering phones and taking messages.
  • Entering RSVPs for meetings in a portal.
  • Crosschecking a signin sheet against a database for any inconsistencies.
  • Creating travel itineraries and sourcing flights and hotels for healthcare providers.
  • Creating venue contracts — a template would be provided.
  • Tracking RSVPs for meetings and notifying the planner if a location is close to maximum room capacity.

Administrative Tasks:

Proven ability to handle a range of administrative tasks such as data entry, creating and revising documents, and managing communication.


  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for tasks such as crosschecking signin sheets, tracking RSVPs, and creating accurate travel itineraries.
  • Customer Service Experience: Experience in dealing with external parties such as restaurants and venues, including negotiating and securing contracts.

Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in RSVPs and room capacities.

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Capable of adapting to fluctuating workloads and priorities during peak seasons.
