Position Summary

Monday - Friday
We are looking for a Pharmacy Clerk to provide excellent customer service to our clients. In this position you will, greet customers, handle payments when the order is ready.


Essential Functions

• Greet customers as they come to the pharmacy
• Answer phone calls
• Collect payment and insurance information
• Give orders to customers
• Keep the shelves organized and clean
• Make regular inventory checks
• Keep up to date inventory for all shipping supplies
• Keep in contact with shipping vendor of any price changes and make the management aware of any changes
• Make phones calls to patients to keep them informed of any shipping delays
• Call patients to let them know when they medications are ready for pick-up
• Call patients to coordinate delivery of medication
• Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the general manager.
• Understand and execute all product flow and order fulfillment processes.
• Maintain current product knowledge in order to receive shipments and process orders accurately.
• Pull, pick and fill customer orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment.
• Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all job-related activities.
• Assist with maintaining adequate inventory levels, and improving inventory handling, space allocation and order efficiency; inform supervisor of items to be ordered
• Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
• Participate in the pharmacy's Performance Improvement program as requested by the pharmacy manager and/or pharmacist in charge.
• Participate in pharmacy committees when requested.
• Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qalifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Cashier or customer service experience
• Shipping experience is a plus
• Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.
• Effective interpersonal, time management
• Organizational skills

Must be able to pass a background and drug test


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour
