Description

We are looking for a motivated team member with impeccable customer service skills and exceptional multi-tasking ability who has a primary interest in working in the administrative functions of our medical practice. The applicant must be an independent thinker who gets joy from serving others (OB/GYN experience preferred).

Position: Medical Receptionist - PART AND FULL-TIME POSITIONS

Responsibilities:

Create a warm first impression
Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office.
Direct patients to the appropriate person and office.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
Verify insurance.
Receive payments.

Skills:

Exceptional Customer Service Skills accompanied by a desire to implement them is a MUST.
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Computer experience in a medical office is a plus.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Excellent organizational skills.
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
