The printed circuit board, as the carrier of electronic components, determines the functionality of Vector hardware.

Simulations and preliminary tests ensure that design and construction errors are detected and corrected as early as possible in each prototype phase.

You will work in a team on these challenges and be involved in the development of control electronics using Altium Designer and their examination on the test bench with the latest measurement technology.


Earliest start date:
Winter semester 2024/25.

It is important to us that you get to know working at Vector on site.

In order to balance your studies and work, we offer mobile work after individual coordination, depending on the specific task.

Please note that pure remote work is not possible.


Your profile:

  • Degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Good knowledge of German and English

Your tasks:

  • Creating circuit diagrams
  • Creating printed circuit board layouts
  • Simulating circuits with LT-Spice
  • Simulating printed circuit boards with CST Studio
  • Building sample circuits and prototypes
  • Commissioning systems and test setups
  • Conducting EMC tests in our inhouse EMC hall
  • Analyzing measurement results
