Dental Assistant

Grayslake Endodontics is a privately owned endodontic office that specializes in root canal treatment and we are searching for a reliable, motivated, outgoing and professional dental assistant to join our team

Responsibilities:

• Assist the endodontist with with root canal and surgical procedures
• Take intraoral xrays and/or 3D CBCT scans of the patient
• Turn over chairs, sterilize and prepare instrument trays for procedures.
• Regularly review inventory and order materials/supplies.
• Assist with training of other dental assistants.
• Be willing to learn and help out with front desk duties (answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, checkin/checkout of patients)

Education/Certification:

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training

Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in a dental environment with direct patient contact preferred
• Positive attitude and customer service skills
• Possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, including conflict resolution skills
• Strong organization, planning and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, rapidly changing environment
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as necessary

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour (depending on level of experience)


Experience:
Dental assistant: 1 year minimum (required)

Schedule:

Practice Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00-12:00pm.
No weekends or evenings

Work Location:
One location (Grayslake/Hainesville 60030)

$ $25.00 per hour
