    Bell & Associates, Inc. has been engaged to find our client an established Safety Manager with five or more years of Industrial Safety experience.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Safety Manager to join an established organization in an established plant. The Safety Manager is responsible for managing all safety procedures in measures for the facility which includes audits, inspections and training for compliance within OSHA standards and guidelines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assists with designing safety programs and executes necessary implementation of plans.
    • Ensures current up-to-date regulations on the state and federal levels.
    • Executes all necessary training for employees surrounding OSHA guidelines and topics as well as other safety and health procedures.
    • Identifies hazards and brings forth corrective actions post-internal safety audit
    • Works with Managers, Supervisors and Hourly Employees on safety hazard recognitions, procedures and up-to-date methods
    • Conducts audits, identifies health and safety hazards and develops corrective actions
    • Responds to on-site emergencies and accidents.
    • Monitors work place on a daily basis to ensure all activity meets safety compliance.

    Professional requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational or Industrial Safety or related field is required. Certificate in Safety Management (CSP) is preferred.
    • Has a demonstrated background of leadership and independence
    • Can present safety training to employees and communicate best practices
    • Ability to work across functional departments to promote safety culture throughout the facility and awareness to reduce exposures.
