- Develop, implement, and revise HR policies and procedures to support the organization's growth and ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Oversee HR and payroll staff at various dealership locations, providing guidance on payroll processing and basic benefits inquiries.
- Act as a strategic HR partner to the management team during the acquisition and integration of new dealerships.
- Lead HR projects, including the implementation of HR systems and processes across new and existing locations.
- Coordinate with the accounting function to ensure smooth operations of payroll and benefits administration.
- Provide leadership and direction to the HR team, ensuring professional development and high performance.
- Handle complex HR issues, mediating disputes and directing grievance procedures to ensure effective resolution.
Requirements Include:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within the automotive or related industry, with experience in managing HR operations during periods of organizational growth.
Skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficient in HRIS systems.
Certifications:
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of HR practices and legal regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
Key Competencies:
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, team management, and a high level of confidentiality.
Additional Information:
This role requires frequent travel between dealership locations from Richmond, VA to southern PA.
