Family Creations Adoptions is looking for a compassionate, reliable, hardworking individual to assist with adoptions across Florida, mainly Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continue education about adoption through field professionals, Zoom meetings and any online resources.
- Create and help maintain adoption plans with expectant mothers and possibly fathers.
- Create professional relationships and contacts with other adoption professionals, health care worker, etc.
- Manage meetings with expectant mothers and adoptive families.
- Execute hospital visits and paperwork with expectant mother and adoptive families.
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing and education, both in person and social media (Instagram, Facebook, Google).
- Maintain social media presence weekly.
- Maintain files and finances and office expenses.
- Our expectant moms and adoptive parents sometimes require assistance during weekends and evenings.
Skills/ Abilities/ Knowledge:
- Ability to work well with staff and partner agencies.
- Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with outside agencies.
- Have organizational skills and abilities and be detail oriented.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and utilize initiative, ability to be organized and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Work to continue personal competency through education, outside literature, seminars, etc.
- Ability to multi task and learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
- Must have Valid FL drivers license.
- Calm and Caring Demeanor is Required.
Education/ Experience:
- BA preferred, but not required.
- A year or more in the adoption/human services field is preferred, but not required.
Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
