Short's Travel Management, a leading provider of NCAA Athletic travel for collegiate athletics has a immediate opening for a Sourcing/Procurement Coordinator with it's Charter Air team.

What you can expect in this role:
As an ACMI Sourcing/Procurement Coordinator for STM Charters, you will be primarily responsible for procuring and negotiating ground handling, security screening, catering, de-icing and ground security coordinator services for our portfolio of ACMI airline operations.
The successful candidate will be able to balance operational needs with fiscal discipline, be process-oriented with an eye towards continuous improvement and be able to design and implement tools to improve forecast and actual expense by line-item by station.
Other responsibilities include assisting with charter expense forecasting, invoice reconciliation, and NCAA Championship assistance. This position may work remotely but will also require occasional travel.Compensation & Available Benefits:

Essential Functions:
Negotiating and procuring ground handling and security arrangements that balance operational needs and fiscal discipline.
Act as the liaison between operations, sourcing, and accounting to reconcile invoice details to negotiated rates. Synthesizing schedule data and invoice data to assign costs to specific flights.
Develop a 'cost database' by station by service, increasing accuracy in charter quotes.
Exhibit a commitment to developing and documenting best practices and processes with an eye toward continual improvement.
Assist with NCAA Championship Travel on an 'as needed' basisBecome proficient in using the pricing model for sales quoting on an as-needed basis.
Represent STM Charters and STM in a professional manner.RequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-starter with ability to focus on goals without constant direct leadership or oversight.
Previous aviation experience required.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).Experience with Salesforce a plus.
Ability and willingness to learn new programs/processes that may be adopted moving into the futureRemote work sites must have dependable high-speed internet and dedicated workspace.
