Job Duties

  • Assemble specified number of pieces of finished product as per work order instructions
  • Wrap bands, label, and identify items for shipment
  • Follow customers specifications for packaging
  • Comply with all plant safety rules and guidelines
  • General material handling duties including overhead crane and forklift usage
  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
  • Observe machine operation to detect material defects or machine malfunctions
  • Maintain all production and quality related reporting
  • Setup and operate a slitter
Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is necessary
  • 13 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, onthejob training will be offered.
  • Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.
  • Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.
  • NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.
  • Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
  • Prior expereince with picking, packing, operation of machinery, and/or knowledge of pickling and slitting is preferred.
