We are currently seeking a qualified Security Officer for our Truck Gate division to join our dynamic team.
As a Security Officer for Truck Gate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our clients' facilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring incoming and outgoing trucks, enforcing access control measures, and conducting regular patrols to detect and deter any security threats or unauthorized activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of trucks entering and exiting the premises, verifying documentation and cargo in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance with Post Instructions is required.
- Monitor surveillance systems and perform regular patrols to identify and address any security breaches, safety hazards, or suspicious behavior.
- Maintain accurate records of truck traffic, inspections, and incidents, and report any anomalies or security concerns to appropriate personnel. Compliance with Post Instructions is required.
- Interact professionally and courteously with truck drivers, visitors, and employees, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with other security team members and relevant stakeholders to respond effectively to emergencies or security incidents. Compliance with Post Instructions is required.
- Enforce access control procedures and ensure compliance with security protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and report writing.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform regular patrols and inspections.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
