Help to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients as a (an) Registered Nurse-Oncology. We want your knowledge and expertise

Job Summary and Qualifications:

You will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of work practices/responsibilities
You will demonstrate organizational, timemanagement, and prioritysetting skills
You will ensure accuracy and completeness of work and documentation within appropriate timeframe
You must demonstrate selfdirection and flexibility in performance of job responsibilities.
You must contribute to learning of new employees, students, float staff, and agency/per diem personnel
You must follow standards of practice relevant to external sources of information regarding patient safety

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Current RN license by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red
Cross Professional Rescuer CPR Card
Certifications may be obtained within first six months of hire with prior
Director/Manager approval with the exception of BLS/CPR and AFM, which

- are required within 90 days of hire

Minimum of oneyear experience in specialty preferred
Minimum passing score of 80% on the Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center

- pharmacology exam upon hire or transfer where applicable

ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
