Compensation Range:
$140-170k per year


Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.

The MH Vice President of Operations is responsible for collaborating with and overseeing the programs in the designated region to maximize their productivity and excellence.

This role works closely with the Division President and Executive Team to carry out the strategic plan of Discovery.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Responsibility for daytoday operations of all assigned locations, ensuring proper operations against identified key metrics including volume, operational excellence, quality of care, financial growth, and customer experience.
  • P&L Management: Implementing/developing strategic road map to drive metrics and financial measures, as well as improve human capital and systems/processes to optimize performance.
  • Anticipating and addressing ways to continuously drive EBITDA growth and to mitigate potential challenges to the business, whether they are operational or strategic.
  • Implement longterm revenue and cost strategies that align with corporate objectives.
  • Prepare and report timely and accurate operational performance reports, against key metrics, to the senior management team.
  • Identify business opportunities for organizational growth to enhance financial strength and contribution margin.
  • Establish and maintain standardized operating processes and maintain a positive, professional culture.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of a consistent overarching operational structure with our business partners, identify KPIs, and use them to drive efficiencies, and integrate dispersed operations.
  • Drive EBITDA growth by creating efficiencies, motivating through a system of metrics, and developing a culture of accountability
  • Act as a handson leader, frequently visiting facilities to ensure efficiency, quality, and systematic functions in operational/clinical performance
  • Provide leadership, direction, and ongoing management for the daily operations including direct responsibility for all sites and their respective operations
  • Recruit, develop and retain key talent through coaching, training, and leadership development
  • Develop and execute valuecreating growth strategies.
  • Maximizes efficiency and effectiveness of daytoday business operations and identifies and targets areas within the division which can be improved.
  • Prioritize the organizational values of access to care and clinical quality.
  • Provides leadership and direction within the division to assure that organizational standards and policies are maintained and followed.
  • Execute the division's budgetary strategy. Focuses on maintaining appropriate expenditure and reduction of loss from operations. Executing plan of action to reduce overages.
  • Carrying out essential HR (Human Resource) functions for direct reports (i.e., hiring, annual reviews, performance management, and personnel improvement plans).
  • Serves as representative for Discovery by collaborating with the Clinical Outreach Representatives to establish and maintain positive relationships with the community.
  • Interacts with outside eating disorder, substance abuse, and mental health treatment programs and providers at all levels of care to establish referral relationships, educate regarding our treatment approach, and facilitate continuity of care for shared clients.
  • Works with direct reports and program personnel to address conflict situations as they arise in the division. The Regional Vice President serves in the role of mediator and negotiator and assures thorough communication throughout the resolution process.
