Responsibilities:


  • Participates in the safety, quality and housekeeping programs as established within the plant.
  • Maintain performance standards, quality standards, good attendance record and attitude.
  • Performs cleanup duties at workstations, etc.
  • Communicate all problems and other workrelated issues with supervisor.
  • Demonstrates flexibility to changing priorities as business needs dictate.
  • Acts decisively and shows a strong sense of urgency to ensure follow through of established goals.
  • Identifies and participates proactively in activities to increase personal skill level, overall departmental process, and product quality.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including mission, safety, and attendance requirements.
  • Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of this position, as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic computer proficiency required.
  • Operation of machine tools such as drill presses, mills, grinders, lathes, and various powered hand tools
  • Ability to pass company ISO, English, Safety and Math tests.
  • Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US.
  • Must be drug and alcoholfree.

Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities

  • Must read, write, and speak English.
  • Must understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must be selfmotivated to work independently and in a group and meet targets.
  • Must perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Must have basic knowledge of punch presses, construction, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Must read and understand schematics.
  • Must be able to think and work under pressure and analyze information to identify solutions.
  • Must have and execute with sense of urgency.
  • MiG/Tig welding a plus

Minimum Physical Requirements

  • Stamina to work all assigned hours.
  • 20/20 vision required with or without correction.
  • Ability to use hands 100% of the workday.
  • Ability to stand and or walk 100% of the workday.
  • Ability to bend, stoop or twist 50% of the workday.
  • Ability to exert physical force to push, pull, lift or carry 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment continuous exposure to potentially hazardous metal working machinery and equipment, loud noises, dust, mist, oils and solvents.
