Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Manage all aspects of the onboarding process and new hire orientation
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HRrelated matters, including performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary actions
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits and leave programs, including enrollment, claims management, and compliance with FMLA and ADA regulations
  • Conduct investigations into complaints and allegations of employee misconduct and harassment, ensuring a fair and equitable resolution
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and performance evaluations
  • Assist in the development and delivery of employee training programs, including topics such as diversity and inclusion, sexual harassment prevention, and workplace safety

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 57 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop proactive solutions

THE HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field


Experience

Required: 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role

Certifications

Preferred:
SHRM-SCP, SPHR or CHHR, or equivalent HR certification
