Temporary
Manufacturing
Engineer
for our
Cinnaminson, NJ
location.
The
Manufacturing
Engineer
will be responsible for carrying out quality assessments and measurements on products within specified dimensions.
*This is a temporary position for approximately a 90-day period of time. The position will work a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The pay range for this position is between $ $72.12/hr. depending on experience*Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create comprehensive plans for the precision machining and assembly processes required to execute statement of work.
Convert drawings or solid models into practical work instructions and sequences.
Develop detailed work instructions and operational documentation.
Maintain reports and records to track project progress.
Input and maintain project-related data in the ERP system.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency for efficient project management.
Create and optimize CNC programs based on engineering drawings.
Use CAD/CAM software to generate toolpaths and strategies.
Plan integration of machined components with purchased hardware.
Oversee assembly to ensure final assemblies meet quality standards.
Monitor machining and assembly processes for quality control.
Collaborate with quality teams to ensure project standards are met.
Work with engineering, production, and quality teams for seamless execution.
Provide project status updates and resolve technical concerns.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Uphold safety standards throughout planning and execution.
Identify and address potential safety hazards proactively.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
7+ years of prior experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer, or something similar, within an aerospace/defense machine shop.
Proven experience with routing and process development/creating in JB2 ERP Software.
MasterCam or Gibbs CAM programming expert.
Understanding of 5-axis programming.
Understanding of machining processes, including milling, turning, drilling, and grinding, as well as knowledge of materials and cutting tools.
