- Supervise all financial aspects, which include corporate accounting, payroll, regulatory and financial reporting, preparation of budgets and forecasts, as well as the establishment of internal control policies and procedures.
- Manage financial risk.
- Oversight of all financial and accounting operations, encompassing accounts payable/receivable, tax preparations, payroll, and reporting.
- Direct and coordinate budget preparation and financial forecasts, report discrepancies, and create financial models.
- Ensure precision in financial transactions and reporting.
- Adhere to and manage local, state, and federal government financial regulations and tax submissions.
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
- Prior experience as a Controller, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role in the finance sector, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- A comprehensive understanding of GAAP and financial principles specific to the restaurant or hospitality field.
- Holder of a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in producing financial statements, general ledger functions, and overseeing month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Exceptional skills in financial analysis and modeling.
- Effective leadership abilities with the capacity to oversee and develop efficient teams.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; capable of engaging and forging connections across all organizational levels.
