Remote Contract Administrator - Norfolk, United States - Amentum
Description
Amentum is seeking a remote Mid-Level Contract Administrator.You'll serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for contracts under your administration in all pre-award and post-award contractual matters.
You will work in close collaboration with internal departments (Program Management, Finance, Security, Procurement, Business Development, and Pricing) to ensure successful contract execution while ensuring compliance with company policy and the FAR.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, coordinate, develop and maintain documentation
- Execute contract awards, contract modifications, deobligations, contract closeouts, and other contract administrative tasks for assigned program or division
- Draft, review, negotiate, and execute nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements (TAs)
- Ensure procurement practices, transactions and documentation comply with Company policies and procedures, contract requirements, and Government regulations
- Interface and coordinate with Government/Prime Contractor, intercompany, interdepartment and internal department personnel
- Provide assistance in coordinating, developing and producing proposals
- Maintain a filing system and is responsible for correspondence on contract matters
- Perform basic contract negotiations to include direct interface with contracting officers
- Perform RFP analysis and develops risk assessments
- Review contract documents and correspondence as part of the analysis of government solicitations
- Review and coordinate review and approval of contract modifications and contract change proposals
- Monitor current status of assigned contracts
Minimum Requirements:
- Five (5) years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related major, or three (3) years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in Business Administration or related major.
- Experience with one or more of these contract types: Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), or Time and Material (T&M).
- Ability to travel for occasional onsite Virginia meetings. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Note:
US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
- Government Contracts Administrator experience.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) and related federal and state legislation and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Local Virginia resident.
