We are looking for you to join our Playout Services team in Schaumburg, IL, full-time or part-time, as a Playout Operator (m/f/d).


Responsibilities:

  • As a Playout Operator (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the live broadcast management of the Sky Sports portfolio and provide firstlevel support in case of emergencies.
  • You are an expert in operating broadcast automation systems, crosspoint switches, audio and video mixers, measuring devices, and intercom systems.
  • You independently and responsibly operate the broadcast automation and server systems and engage with the content and technical aspects of the transmissions.
  • You ensure and monitor the broadcast quality and schedule in a live and nonlive environment.
  • During the live broadcast of various sports events, you take full responsibility for the production environment, including routing and measuring signals, audio mixing, communication with responsible departments, inserting special advertising and broadcast graphics.
  • In case of technical failures, you keep a cool head and quickly and efficiently restore or maintain the broadcast operation.
