This position requires on-site client support in SW Washington DC (Waterfront Area).
Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with the planning, executing, and managing the agency?s transition to electronic records
  • Assist in complying with federal and agency records management requirements
  • Conduct records inventories
  • Assist with tracking and disposing of paper copies (per policy)
  • Assist in developing a digitization plan to convert paper records to electronic records
  • Assist in performing daily administrative support activities under the guidance of the Records and Information Management (RIM) program manager and Agency Records Officer (ARO) to maintain and mature/enhance the RIM program and legal, statutory, and regulatory authorities
  • Assist with the responses to agency, NARA, and other data calls, assessments, etc.
  • Assist with organizing and scheduling offsite records transfers and recalls
  • Assist with maintaining proper records management logs
  • Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and document meetings as required
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and refine policies, processes, and procedures
  • Develop guidance, training, and/or help guides
  • Respond to customer inquiries and providing reliable advice on records and information management activities in a timely and professional manner
  • Create and maintain content for a knowledge base of the agency?s records and information management information.
  • Provide advisory support on records lifecycle activities and protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) materials
  • Provide general guidance on records and information management instruction to all enterprise records owners; rolebased RIM instruction to departmental liaisons; and special instructions to agency senior leaders under the guidance of the ARO/RIM Program Manager
  • Support agencylevel strategic planning efforts as it relates to RIM program goals, associated IT initiatives, and performance evaluation
  • Gather business and technical requirements necessary to enhance systems and solutions related to RIM including metadata tagging, strategic use of SharePoint, Robotic Process Automation, file plan automation, etc.
  • Monitor and measure compliance with related policies and federal mandates (e.g., internal and external audits)
  • Design, develop, implement and manage strategic communications
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and ensure expectations are proactively and clearly communicated
  • Develop trusted partnerships across the Agency and ensure optimal client satisfaction is consistently achieved
  • Ensure team success through effective design, development and timely delivery of exceptional quality work products
  • Contribute to program and project status meetings
