    Armed & Unarmed University Patrol Security Officer

    THIS IS A 3-MONTH MISSION WITH THE POTENTIAL OF BECOMING A PERMANENT, LONG-TERM CONTRACT

    THE UNIVERSITY PATROL SECURITY OFFICER MISSION
    Covered Six shall provide support to law enforcement at a major university in Los Angeles performing a wide variety of duties using a true concierge approach. The assignment(s) consists of but is not limited to uniformed vehicle and foot patrol, crime suppression, response to trespassing, and building and structure protection. Covered Six is currently looking for qualified armed and unarmed protective officers.


    WHO WE NEED
    We are searching for individuals who have military, law enforcement, Covered Six Security Academy, and or armed and unarmed security patrol experience. Mandatory training shall be provided to all officers. You must be physically fit.


    MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

    • BSIS Guard Card
    • BSIS Exposed Carry Firearms Permit if working armed
    • Able to pass a background check and reference check
    • Valid Driver License
    • Reliable transportation
    • Solid memorization skills to recall locations and law enforcement radio codes Conservative hairstyle and facial hair, or no facial hair
    • High emotional intelligence
    • Genuine empathy
    • Reverence for human life
    • High reluctance to use force
    • Friendly and approachable demeanor
    • Strong communication and observational skills
    • Excellent to good physical fitness

    COMPENSATION FOR THE AVAILABLE POSITIONS

    1. Armed Supervisor (PRIOR LAW ENFORCEMENT) | $40 to $45 per hour
    2. Armed Officer | $35 to 40 per hour
    3. Unarmed Officer | $25 to $35
