Description
As a member of the Production Team, you are at the very heart of our entire operation. Your job goes beyond growing plants. Your job is producing fresh, interesting greens that consistently surprise and delight our customers. It is your commitment to growing and harvesting the highest quality product possible that keeps our customers coming back.

This is a fast paced and physical job. You must be willing and able to perform quickly and accurately, and work hard.

What does a typical day look like? Our day starts bright and early in the morning with harvest.

You'll be pulling trays of micro and baby greens and cutting them with a harvesting machine, while ensuring that the greens are of superior quality.

Once everything is cut, you'll send it over to the packing team who will take it from there.

From there you will move over to Chef harvest where the focus will be harvesting many flowers and herbs to a Michelin Star quality standard.

After harvest, there's quite a bit of cleanup to do - a clean facility means healthy plants.

We also plant a large volume of greens on a daily basis and monitor the greens that are already growing for quality.

It's a big job to pull off, and we do it on a daily basis - rain or shine. Oftentimes, you'll be performing repetitive manufacturing tasks, like sending 400 trays of microgreens through the harvesting machine. Other times, you'll be working with your Production Team colleagues to troubleshoot puzzling equipment issues.

So what kind of person are we looking for to join the Production Team? The kind person who shows up to work on time every single day to tackle tasks with humility.

The kind of person who brings curiosity to everything they do and thinks to themselves "Maybe if we made a few tweaks, we could get just a little better.

I wonder if there's a way for us to increase the yields by 15%? or 20%?" In a word, we're looking for producers.

You're gritty and resourceful.

You're adaptable and mentally agile.

You're curious and crave new challenges.

You love working as a part of a close-knit team.

You're not afraid of making (and learning from) mistakes.

You root for your teammates and celebrate their successes.

You abhor slacking off and are always looking for ways to improve.

Hourly pay range estimated at $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
