Job Title:
Certified Orthopedic Tech


Shift:
Day 5x8-Hour (06:4- 17:30)


Job Duration:13(weeks)


Description:


  • 2 years of experience in an outpatient Orthopedic Clinic
  • CPR

OTC Certification from NBCOT or ASOP

PREFERRED:

  • Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Tech program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists physician, NP or PA in assessment of signs, symptoms, analysis, treatment and care of the orthopedic patient.
  • Provides education, under physician, NP or PA instruction, involving the care and plan of treatment of the orthopedic patient. (i.e proper care of cast and splints).
  • Prepares patients for the provider by reviewing current medications and records in medical record as needed.

$43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
