If new to California state service, you will need to have taken and passed the examination for this classification in order to be hired for this position.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.

If it is determined an applicant does not meet Minimum Qualifications, the applicant will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position.

Applicants who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board.

Working Conditions


This position is located in Sacramento County and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule, with two days in office.

Employees must reside in California and be able to satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely.

The hybrid telework schedule will allow for up to three days of remote work per week depending on department needs.
