Your tasksFor the automotive sector with a focus on thermomanagement and mechanical components, we are looking for an intern (m/f/d) for approximately 6 months starting in September 2024 in Russellville.
The department is a central development department for product development/design of various electronic control units.
The activities include not only the design and development of individual components (housing, connectors, etc.), but also the development of device concepts and technologies.
Your tasks will include:
- Support in product development from requirement management to product release
- Design of test tools and fixtures
- Ordering and organizing necessary parts and fixtures
- Coordination, monitoring, and execution of tests for mechanical components
- Analysis and evaluation of results
- Discussion and interpretation of results with specialists and other departments
- Creation of technical documentation and reports
- Support in test planning for qualification
Your profile
- Student in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology, or a comparable course of study
- Basic knowledge of CAD
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
