SUMMARY

Provide food and beverage service to our guests in an in an expedient, professional, friendly and courteous manner in accordance with all Federal, state and local liquor laws and current health & sanitation regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect and set up any necessary equipment to perform job (complete opening and closing side-work).

Take food and beverage orders and input to kitchen in complete and timely fashion.

Serve guest and internal team members in accordance with established standards.

Make sure work area is sanitized with approved disinfectants and sanitizers regularly throughout shift Make sure work area is clean, stocked and prepped for the next shift before leaving.

Have complete knowledge and understanding of all Canyon Breeze food and beverage menus and daily specials. Be prepared to answer guests' questions.

Understand all aspects of food and beverage service, including wine service.

Must exhibit detailed knowledge and comply with rules and regulations of the Utah DABC as they apply to alcohol service at Red Mountain, for both the Restaurant License and the Banquet License.

Properly handle all equipment and supplies (i.e. china, glass and silver).

Excellent customer service skills.

Follow all current health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE and using properly labeled/designated disinfectant, wipes down all contact hard surface areas including tabletops, chair backs, door handles, countertops, door push plates, telephones, touch screens, pens, check presenter books, mop and broom handles, pitcher handles, salt and pepper shakers, server pagers etc.

Well organized.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Must be able to perform all related job duties as assigned and assist other team members and departments as needed.

Qualifications:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have or be able to obtain T.I.P.S. or S.M.A.R.T. certification and food handler's certification.

Be proficient with TOUCH/POS system or other food & beverage POS

Have complete knowledge and understanding of all Canyon Breeze food, beverage, wine service/list, liquor laws and daily specials.

Have knowledge of southern Utah area, points of interest and local events, Red Mountain Resort & Spa layout, amenities and daily activities. Be prepared to answer guests' questions.

Knowledge of current health & sanitation policies, proper handling of equipment and supplies (i.e. china, glass and silver) and observe all safety procedures during execution of assigned duties.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Food Handler's Permit required within 30 days of date of hire.

TIPS or SMART training required before first day on the job.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT
