- Manage all in-branch customer service requests and operations.
- Assume responsibility for till operations in the absence of the Head Teller.
- Achieve referral, account, and retention goals.
- Cultivate branch identity, drive sales, and foster accountability for customer service and branch success.
- Implement new products, sales promotions, and incentive programs to stimulate growth.
- Originate residential and installment loans and oversee lending activities.
- Supervise Assistant Branch Managers and Tellers providing guidance and support.
- Make informed recommendations on staffing matters including assignments, promotions, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular staff training meetings enforcing bank policies, procedures, and sales techniques.
- Ensure security measures are in place to prevent fraudulent activities and minimize risk.
- Maintain effective communication between branch staff and management through regular reporting and attendance at meetings.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of bank products, services, and promotions.
- Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution.
- Review and approve requests such as large check cashing, bank checks, and cash counts.
- Uphold branch performance standards in areas such as operating control, compliance, and customer service.
- Continuously enhance banking knowledge and sales skills through training and education.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience, preferably in banking.
- Strong customer service and cash handling experience.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in small groups.
- Full-time position with hours aligned with branch operation times.
- Flexibility required for occasional evening and weekend work as job demands.
- Occasional travel may be required upon request.
- Proficiency in primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingual skills desirable.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to managers and customers.
- Ability to lift 10 to 20 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing and handling money.
- Proficiency in operating office equipment.
