Regional Clinical Director - Indiana
The Regional Clinical Director (RCD) has a primary responsibility to accelerate client success through effective oversight of clinical quality, prescription fulfillment, ethical practice, and client outcomes in the assigned region.
The Regional Clinical Director drives client success by monitoring KPIs and center-specific data, developing and executing targeted improvement plans.
As a senior leader, the Regional Clinical Director is responsible for upholding the organization's core values, cultivating a culture of integrity, creativity, respect, teamwork, and excellence.
Additionally, the RCD is responsible for developing and monitoring staff performance and achievement. This role participates and oversees auditing of clinical services across the organization to establish uniformity, precision, and quality documentation.Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and execution for all aspects of the region, including client lifecycle, clinical outcomes, regional growth, team development and KPI management
Engage in functional partnership with Regional Operations counterpart to ensure clinical and center operations are streamlined and consistent across centers within and across regions
Own and drive the implementation and maintenance of standardized clinical processes & clinical operations in assigned region Monitors progress on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer, utilizing data to drive individual and/or center-based action/intervention plans
Ensures client programming in assigned region is ethical, appropriately individualized, and provided with integrity? Directly supervises Clinical Directors in assigned region, providing clinical and leadership coaching, consultation and assistance with matters related to client success and employee relations, and general support
Collaborates with Chief Clinical Officer, other Regional Clinical Directors, and members of Clinical Training, Quality & Outcomes, & Compliance departments to improve, streamline, and maintain clinical processes and outcomes
Contribute to the ongoing vitality of Bierman through participation in recruiting, participating in local/regional ABAI chapters, attending Bierman sponsored events as needed, etc.
Actively engage with all site-based employees, provide on the spot support, and contribute to the vitality of the Bierman culture during weekly site visits (approx. 50% -75% of week)Requirements
BCBA or BCBA-D Certification for minimum of 3 years
Licensure in states of practice (if applicable)
Successful leadership experience for minimum of 2 years
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Clinical expertise in early intervention, precision teaching, problem behavior reduction
Performance management highly preferred
Experience collaborating on cross-functional teams and excellent written and oral communication with colleagues, direct reports, and consumers
Qualified candidates will enjoy working with children and have a proven record of timely execution of responsibilities, organization, flexibility, patience, and dependability.
They will be highly motivated, naturally take initiative, be willing to learn, remain curious, and look to make a larger, positive impact.
Basic & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry clients who are least 30 pounds
Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Support Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior
Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures including kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing, bending, for extended periods of time.
Must be able to walk and run to chase clients and maintain a three-foot distance at all timesMust be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to attend to basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing
Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection
Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication though computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
Must be able to take written data and transfer to electronic files or data base systems
Must be able to maintain prolonged periods of working on a computer while sitting at a desk or on the floor
Must be able to assemble, clean and maintain therapy space including toys and furniture
Must be able to administer medication to clients
Travel Required
Weekly travel to centers within assigned region (50-75% of week)
Occasional out-of-region travel (up to 5%)
