Our client, an internationally operating company based in Düsseldorf, is looking for an experienced Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) for services, particularly in the areas of Business Consulting, Legal and Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of strategic procurement plans for services such as business consulting and management consulting.
  • Conducting supplier evaluations and identifying potential suppliers that meet company requirements.
  • Negotiating contracts and terms to achieve optimal prices and conditions (value limit: > EUR per transaction).
  • Analysis of the procurement market and maintaining knowledge of trends and developments in the mentioned product categories.
  • Close collaboration with internal departments to identify needs and ensure that procurement strategies align with company goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in strategic purchasing, ideally with a focus on services.
  • Proficient in dealing with and commissioning management consultancies, law firms, etc.
  • Demonstrable successes in negotiating contracts and terms that have resulted in cost savings and added value for the company.
  • Sound knowledge of supplier management and development.
  • Experience with procurement tools
