Job DescriptionSalary: DOE plus per diem if qualified

Tasks:

Operates a variety of heavy equipment.
Prior to operating equipment, conducts routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs.
Monitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation.
Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures and potentially heights.
Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes.
Ability to be on your feet moving constantly on concrete, pavement, steel, or metal.
Valid TWIC Card or ability to obtain it.
Performs or requests necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment.

Qualifications:

Must pass all training set forth by CSFCO and/or TVTC that pertain to this position.
Basic computer competency with the ability to learn client systems.
Positive disposition, integrity, and responsibility
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
FR Outerwear required (no exceptions)
Thorough understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of heavy equipment.
Thorough understanding of maintenance and basic repairs associated with heavy equipment.
Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery.
Superior skill operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
