    **Job Summary**

    Part of a larger team delivering high quality Computer, Network, Storage and End-User Infrastructure technology solutions, on-going support to the business. Independently completes infrastructure project assignments. Plan, research, evaluate, design, and engineer the enterprise's technology infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshooting, cost estimates, justifications, and recommendations. Produces technical documentation, support and configuration. Manage, plan, and maintain technical platforms including upgrading systems. Monitor system performance and installs and configures hardware. Responsible for collaborating with other Job Families such as Project Managers, Architects, Solution Engineers, Technicians, Business Analysts to deliver consistent, reliable technology solutions that leverage AEP's technology standards, architectures and best practices.

    **Essential Job Functions:**

    Working independently, responsibilities include the following related to Computer, Network, Storage, Cloud and End-User infrastructure:

    + Manage large complex M365 tenant including major applications: SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive, Exchange and other Microsoft productivity tools

    + Engages with IT partners and end users to develop solutions, advise on best practices and raise awareness on M365

    + Automates repetitive administrative processes and data gathering through PowerShell, Graph API, Power Automate, etc.

    + Leverages knowledge of security best practices and Microsoft native security tools to properly secure and control the M365 tenant

    + Perform infrastructure project assignments. Plan, research, evaluate and design infrastructure solutions.

    + Provide a high level of technical support and analysis, operation, administration, and troubleshooting activities. Adhere to AEPs approval processes as part of change management, incident management and trouble response scenarios.

    + Prepare cost estimates, justifications, application requirements, alternative solutions, and technical recommendations.

    + Prepare technical documentation including procedures, manuals, and reports.

    + Review and adhere to budgeting and approval processes while assisting with annual and project planning.

    + May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.

    **Minimum Requirements:**

    **Infrastructure Engineer Senior (SG7):**

    **Education:** Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

    **Experience:** 5 years of relevant work experience is required.

    An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

    **Infrastructure Engineer Principal (SG8):**

    **Education:** Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

    **Experience:** 7 years of relevant work experience is required.

    An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

    **Preferred Requirements:**

    **Experience:**

    + 3 plus years of experience supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Exchange, conferencing technology and software deployments

    + Prior experience in a large organization administering M365 tenant and associated applications. Preferably in environment with E5 licenses

    + Experience in an end-user facing & IT partner facing role consulting on solutions and best practices

    + Experience with privileged access to M365 tenants

    + Extensive experience with PowerShell and Graph API

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills

    **Compensation:**

    **Infrastructure Engineer Sr (SG7):** $83,413-$104,268

    **Infrastructure Engineer Prin (SG8):** $94,225- $122,491

    $83, ,267.50 USD

    Candidates will be considered based on their qualifications and the candidates ability to work from an approved work location. Although the location is flexible, AEP does not have a presence in all states and localities. The following locations are NOT currently approved for this position: AK, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IA, ID, KS, MA, ME, MS, MT, ND, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, RI, SD, UT, VT, WY, US Territories or international work locations. AEP will consider qualified candidates who are willing to relocate to an approved work location, at the candidates expense, provided the relocation can be completed within a timeframe that meets AEPs staffing needs. NOTE: All remote work locations require vetting and final approval prior to offer and/or start date.
