    About the Role: St John Paul II College is looking for a passionate Classroom Support Teacher to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the curriculum, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to student development within the Learning Diversity faculty.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver intervention programs tailored to students' needs
    • Collaborate with staff to support individual student requirements
    • Create evidence-based resources to enhance student learning
    • Contribute to Gifted and Talented programs
    • Assist in developing Personalised Learning Plans
    • Ensure compliance with data collection and assessment processes
    • Provide in-class support to students with specific needs


    Qualifications:

    • Hold a Working with Children registration and Teacher Accreditation
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education/Teaching


    Selection Criteria:

    1. Demonstrated teaching skills to enhance student learning outcomes
    2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Self-management and emotional maturity
    4. Capacity to foster students' unique capabilities


    Other Eligibility Criteria:

    • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
    • Child-related employment screening mandatory
