Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking responsible and dedicated employees to join our accounting team at our headquarters in Mokena, IL. As a small team, we are looking for someone to join and support us.

As a balance sheet accountant, you will play a leading role in shaping financial processes for our company.

You will be involved in the preparation of annual financial statements, creating VAT returns, and recording and posting invoices and receipts in collaboration with your colleagues.

Together with your team, you will be responsible for asset accounting, account reconciliation, system maintenance, and tax support. You will also be an important point of contact for all financial and accounting matters.


Qualifications:

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or degree or have an equivalent qualification and have at least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • You have excellent knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code)
  • You have a positive and openminded personality
  • Responsibility and reliability are natural for you
  • You are proficient in using MS Office
  • We use Datev in our accounting, so experience with it is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of German (spoken and written) is important and knowledge of English is an advantage
  • Stress resistance
