Duties:


  • In addition to the duties performed by the Custodial Worker NA35661, DA Job Number AL 783, incumbent.
  • Receives group work assignments, assign immediate tasks to Custodial Workers led and gets work started. Checks work in progress and when finished to ensure rooms meet established standards.
  • Assists Custodial Workers with cumbersome or difficult tasks. Assures safety and housekeeping rules are followed. Ensures that supplies and equipment are available for the work group, reports insufficiencies and other problems to the supervisor.
  • Assists in training Custodial Workers; demonstrates proper work methods; explains rules and procedures to follow; answers questions and explains written instructions.
  • Reports progress and training needs to supervisor.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

  • Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federallycontrolled facilities.
  • Requires special event set up duties in all type of weather conditions.

PCS Costs

  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

FWS Allowances and Differentials

  • This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
  • All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
  • Regular fulltime, regular parttime (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled nonovertime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled nonovertime hours of work occur between the hours of

Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances

  • Nonforeign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
